Congrats! I knew exactly what you meant when I saw the subject of the email just sent to me. I've been morbidly obese/super obese/obese class III for most of my adulthood. I was excited when I got into that "very obese" category for about 30 days in 2020. I haven't been "overweight" since I was 15.
I agree ;) That's maybe where the crudeness at the BMI at the edges shows itself.
For reference I recently got a DEXA and I have 146lbs of lean mass - so even if I went to 0% fat (and died) I wouldn't meet the bottom of the normal range, haha.

Yes, but your lean mass will fall as well as you get closer to normal BMI levels.
Yea that's my expectation. Unfortunately I didn't get a DEXA 45lbs ago lol :D That would be really enlightening now.
