The shorter time period stuff is really interesting to see. I can't wait to see what it looks like going the other way, and I'd love to see what it looks like for a swampy diet too!

My guess is the extra protein from rice + bison is allowing the liver to dispose of more LA while already in a low LA state, and this simultaneously explains the jump in oleic acid which will be produced when the body detects low LA, and consequently upregulates desaturase enzymes. Initially that'd rapidly drop the saturated fats, giving you that PID controller like effect at the beginning.

Excellent post! These results make me suspicious about all of the extremely low LA% measurements on r/SaturatedFat. If we put those fuitarians on an Ex150 diet, it stands to reason that their LA% would jump up (assuming I'm understanding your results correctly).

Yea, that's my understanding. Now the question is, what would it jump up to? 10.5%, like some of the other long timers? Or 15%? I do think that fruitarianism is a pretty extreme way of depleting PUFA, maybe THE most extreme way.
