Water Kettle Warning: Danger of severe burns!

Real quick. Two years ago, I recommended a water kettle I was then using for boiling tea and coffee water:

If you happened to buy this kettle by any chance, it is apparently being recalled for being dangerous by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

CPSC Warns Consumers to Stop Using Sekaer Electric Kettles Immediately Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Burn Hazard

CPSC is aware of 116 reports of kettles releasing hot liquid or steam unexpectedly, resulting in 89 injuries, including second- and third-degree burns.

I’d feel terrible if you bought the kettle on my recommendation and got burned, so I thought I’d forward this warning.
