I can probably eat dates and grapes and drink orange juice for a couple of days; likely not a month, though, egad.

Yea, there are quite a few foods like that for me. I loved chocolate truffle for like 2 days, tolerated for 4 (IIRC), and by one week I HATED it every single time.

Not really sure what it is, missing micronutrient or something about taste/flavor/texture?
